Stamp of the Month "club"

 Hello friends!

I want to introduce my stamp of the month club! How does it work, you ask?  Each month I will feature a new stamp set that makes me happy.  I'll design 4 cards using just that set.  If that stamp set makes you happy too, join the club that month and I'll send you the card pieces all cut out and ready for you to create.  What if you already have that stamp set?  You can substitute a stamp set of equal value and I'll still send you the card supplies!  That could really make you happy, right!  The fee each month is $42.  That includes the stamp set (valued at about $30), the card supplies, a how to video and shipping to your door!  There's no commitment to join every month but you'll want to I'm sure of it!  When you have purchased 6 kits, you'll get a gift from me.  Sign up is by the 15th of each month.

From now till February 15th the Stamp of the Month is Nuts & Bolts.  It was one of the very first sets I had to buy from the new catalogue.  Aren't those robots the cutest!?  Here's a sneak peak at some of the cards you'll get supplies for.

Message me to join before February 15th! Happy Stamping!

It's all about the love today!

Happy Tuesday!

I struggle a bit with Valentine's cards.  I usually don't have a sweetheart to gush over and make cards for so I tend to skip the whole Valentine's thing.  But this year I remembered the times my mom made notes or cards or treats for us kids.  I kept some of them and they are in my scrapbooks.  So instead of focusing on mushy, romantic love I made cards that you can give to anyone that you love.  Today on my live video, I showed a way to use the Brave Vikings stamp set to make a great masculine love card. This is Ray the Red!  Isn't he handsome? He says "I've taken a viking to you" 😍

I used the Always in my Heart stamp set for the second card I demonstrated this morning.  I used a technique (I don't know if it has a name) where I traced a shape (the heart) and then used the smaller stamps around the shape.  This can be left as it is or you can place the shape on top so the stamping is seen around the edges of the shape.  I put the heart on dimensionals to make it stand out. I used the gorgeous soft velvet Mint Macaron ribbon to finish it off.

Do you make Valentine's cards?  What's your favourite kind to make?  Flowery, simple, punny... The possibilities are endless!
